Pixonality Promotional Videos

Pixonality is an e-commerce company that assists organizations with their talent-related objectives by providing online assessments from various providers. While employed by a sister brand of Pixonality, I was tasked with creating promotional videos for their new assessment management platform, which launched in May of 2023.

At the start of this project, I was given two pieces of content: the Pixonality logo and some screen recorded footage demonstrating the platform’s features. This left me responsible for the conceptualization and copywriting of not only the promotional videos themselves, but also for the ideation of Pixonality’s motion identity and the creation of the logo animation.

Adobe After Effects, Adobe Illustrator

After assessing the brand’s visual identity and values, I opted for the use of simple flat solids in Pixonality’s colours to serve as the main graphics, which would be animated with rapid yet smooth motion to illustrate Pixonality’s ease of use and streamlined processes. The logo animation depicts a camera shutter morphing into the brand’s logo, thereby representing Pixonality’s aim of capturing people’s skills and knowledge at a given moment, as a picture of one’s professional profile.

I created two distinct videos for this campaign. The first is a demonstration of the assessment management platform’s features; the second is a shorter promotional video that was shared on the brand’s social media pages. In addition, I adapted both of these videos into French versions. Motion graphic templates (MOGRTs) were also created to provide the rest of the marketing team with more autonomy when making Pixonality branded video content.
