Game Diorama

The aim of this diorama was to create new game assets that would fit within Unity’s The Explorer: 3D Game Kit‘s pre-existing art style.

After deciding on a concept and completing my initial sketch, I dove head-first into the modelling of assets in Maya. Six unique pieces were required for this diorama: a glowing crystal, a three-pronged metal stand, a piece of alien foliage, a stone base, a boulder, and a rock.

Once the assets were fully modelled, I brought them into Mudbox to add textures, before importing them into Adobe Substance Painter to add materials. Finally, all assets were imported into Adobe 3D Stager for the final staging of the diorama.
